The Better Beverage Company
Indian Teas
From the high sides of the Himalayas to the Malabar coast, tea production in India is as geographically diverse as the range of teas produced.
From the fine almost floral offerings from the Darjeeling and Sikkim areas throught the vast Assam valley with its predominately rich and full teas to the hills of the Nilgiris with their balanced tastes you are sure to find something to tickle your palate.
The Assam valley is India's largest tea growing area. The tea tea produced here is generally charaterised as rich and full bodied, yet as with all generalisations while this is true it is also totally wrong. Certainly the CTC manufactured grades are reknowned for their rich full taste and ability to lift an average blend. However the area still produces classic Othodox teas of exceptional quality and delicacy. we hope you will like our offerings in both categories! Why you might ask does the Assam tea logo contain a rhinocerous? As if you didn't know that the area is home to the one-horned rhino.
